- Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pieces back with lacquer and gold pigments. It’s a metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections. Rather than hiding our imperfections, it encourages us to accept our “flaws” – and even to call attention to them.
- Kintsugi also exemplifies the spirit of wabi-sabi.
- It has started to be acknowledged worldwide now. You will see it in many movies and shows now. It's a great way to learn Japanese tradition and about a way of our living.
- No worries if you have no idea what Kintsugi is. A local Kintsugi artist will explain you what Kintsugi is before moving onto the hands-on experience.
