- Nishiki Market →Ponto-cho street →Gion district→ Yasaka shrine →Sannen-zaka shopping street→Kiyomizu-dera temple →Sanju-sangendo temple(optional) →Fushimi Inari shrine →JR Kyoto station or downtown to end the tour
- Alternative course "quiet off the beaten track":
- Gion district→Yasaka shrine and Maruyama park →Chion-in temple (optional)→Heian-jingu God garden→Philosopher’s path→Eikando temple(optional)→Nanzenji temple→Kyoto Incline park →downtown Kyoto or JR Kyoto station to end the tour
