"Jokudanya Main Store" is located in an alley along Hanama Koji in Kyoto. This is where Japanese shabu-shabu originated. The unique store name comes from the first owner Seinosuke. Seinosuke loved kabuki, and his favorite play was Tadaomizozo 11 Sections. The owner hopes that guests visiting Kyoto will continue to enjoy delicious food in our restaurant after admiring the eleven sections of Tadomizo in the Minamiza. That's the reason for the name "Twelve Dan Family". "Jade-danke Honten" uses a copper pot designed by the original owner for shabu-shabu shabu-shabu shabu-shabu shabu-shabu shabu-shabu shabu-shabu shabu-shabu shabu-shabu. The interior decoration of "Jokudanke Honten" has works by several Japanese masters: for example, there is a tiger by printmaker Shiko Munakata on the sliding door, and there are works by ceramic artist Kanjiro Kawai in the private room.
