みどころ

For this event, various features will be beautifully illuminated, including Hitotsumatsu (the "Single Pine"), which is modeled after the pine trees of Karasaki on Lake Biwa; Horai-jima (the "Horai Island"), which represents a wish for eternal youth and longevity; and Engetsu-kyo (the "Full Moon Bridge"), where the moon's reflection can be seen on the water. Near the East Gate, there will also be a special projection mapping show on the Karamon Gate that depicts the world of ukiyo-e woodblock prints, capturing the life and landscapes of Edo during the Mito Domain era. You can also enjoy the "Shadow Pictures on the Mud Wall," where various shadow designs appear on the white wall. Additionally, there will be many events to help you experience the lively atmosphere of the Edo castle town. Traditional performing arts from the Edo period will be showcased, such as Kanda-bayashi festival music and paper cutting. You'll also find vendors selling traditional Japanese accessories, light meals, and drinks. Please com
