Hitoyoshi is a hidden village surrounded by the Kyushu Mountains in the southern part of Kumamoto Prefecture. It is located in the middle of Kyushu. It was cultivated for a long time by the Sagara clan in the Edo period and had a rice-growing culture supported by rice. It is a unique town that still retains the remains of its own local culture and temples and shrines. Hitoyoshi is about a 90-minute drive from Kumamoto City, and this trip includes round-trip highway buses and local taxis, so you don’t have to worry about getting around. In addition, Hitoyoshi is also known as "Kumamon TOWN", and there are many Kumamon-related contents here.
