Follow in the footsteps of the samurai at Magome-juku, a post town on the Nakasendo road. Stroll along the stone-paved slopes and historic streets, and among the teahouses in the post town are shops selling the famous gohei mochi and soba restaurants. Enjoy the spectacular views from the bus window as you drive down the peach blossom-lined road. Hanamomo no Sato: A miraculous view that can only be seen during this season, Hanamomo no Sato is the best peach blossom source in Japan. The gradation of the scenery with approximately 5000 flowers in three colors, red, white, and pink, is overwhelming. Be sure to take lots of wonderful photos. Gin no Mori: Surrounded by greenery and flowers, the garden is dotted with unique specialty shops selling Western and Japanese sweets, as well as cafes.
