Toretore Ichiba (Seafood Market, Toretore Market), Nanki Shirahama, is Western Japan's largest seafood market, offering seasonal fresh fish and agricultural products from Wakayama. Shirahama Beach features a 620-meter-long arc-shaped pure white quartz sand beach, Japan's earliest mainland beach to open in summer.
