**熊野大花火大会** 熊野大花火大会は250～300年の歴史があり、その起源は江戸時代にまで遡ります。もともとは熊野市木本町の極楽寺で祖霊を祀るお盆行事の一つとして行われていた。当時の花火大会の規模は小さいものでしたが、花火大会の競技会という伝統はすでにありました。明治初期には一部の花火が禁止されましたが、その後も花火活動は発展を続け、花火の打ち上げ場所も徐々に海岸へと移っていきました。大正時代に入ると、花火大会は観光的な要素も加わり、規模も華やかになっていきました。しかし、第二次世界大戦の影響により、1945年を最後に大会は中断され、1946年に熊野市観光協会が引き継ぎました。1963年以降は毎年8月17日に開催されています。 1999年、この出来事は世界初の「長さ2フィートの爆弾4つが海上で同時に爆発」した。 **ハイライト** * 海上での自爆花火：2隻の高速船が点火した花火を海に投げ込み、強力な海上花火を爆発させた。 * 三地玉海上爆発：1993年から実施されているもので、海上のいかだに巨大な花火を載せて爆発させ、半径600メートルの壮大な光の半円を形成します。 * ゴーストタウンビッグトリック：都市の洞窟のエコー効果を利用して、爆発音と色とりどりの花火の衝撃的な融合を生み出します。見逃せない素晴らしいショーです
