・Jiyunji Temple Jiyunji Temple, located in Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is said to have been founded by the famous Japanese Zen monk Yumesou Kokushi. The temple has a profound cultural heritage, the most representative of which is the literary stele of Higuchi Ichiyo. In addition to its rich historical value, Jiyun Temple also has a stunning "Itozakura" tree. This cherry tree is a variant of the Edo Higan cherry tree, is over 300 years old, and is listed as a natural monument designated by Yamanashi Prefecture. The tree is 14 meters tall and graceful, and when it blooms every spring, its spectacular branches hang down like a pink waterfall, creating a stunning sight. Especially on the eve of full bloom, the deep pink flowers are even more gorgeous, attracting countless tourists to stop and admire them.
