Saburomaru distillery is the third longest distillery in Japan. The distillery is run by Wakatsuru sake brewery. They are making not only whisky but also Japanese sake. In the tour, you can see around the distillery with a knowledgeable guide about Japanese whisky. Addition to the distillery, you can also go into the warehouse for storing casks. In the distillery, you can appreciate the atmosphere of old architecture, how to make the whisky, the history of whisky making for more than 70 years. At the end of the tour, you can taste some products including whisky and Japanese sake. When you would like to join a special tour, there is an option of making own bottle of the special whisky if you pay extra fee.
