• This is a private tour and a manner lesson held at the Kenninji temple, the oldest Zen temple in Kyoto. You and your group will enjoy history and interesting stories of the temple. After the tour, we offer you a short Japanese manner course at the special tea room within the temple. the course include Matcha and some sweets. Participants will learn how to drink a matcha at a tea ceremony in Japan.
• Kenninji is located at the center of Gion district where lots of tourists visit. The temple offer solemn yet refreshable atmosphere.
• The tour includes temple's original gift, matcha and Japanese sweet.
• The fee of the tour will be used for the conservation of the temples in Kyoto.
• Please enjoy quiet and relax time at the temple.

Guided tour of the temple. The Sadou master will show you how to enjoy a matcha at a Japanese tea ceremony and also will guide the temple after of before the lecture.
