  • Matsudaira Toshogu shrine is dedicated to Ieyasu Tokugawa, a famous Japanese military commander. In addition, there is a "well of childbirth" in the precincts of the shrine, which is believed to bring blessings of longevity and easy childbirth.
  • And, Korankei is said that a monk in Edo Period planted the autumn leave trees and today it is one of the best places in Japan to view the autumn leaves, with approximately 4,000 maple trees in full color.
