What to expect

Participating in the activity offered by Sumiyoshi Shachu in Ichikikushikino, Kagoshima, you will experience a traditional Japanese tatami room dance, known as "Ozashiki Odori." Options include a combined 2-hour session featuring both the dance and a Japanese green tea ceremony, or separate 1-hour sessions focusing on either the dance or the tea ceremony alone. The activities take place in a 170-year-old traditional Japanese house and provide a cultural immersion into historical Japanese customs and arts. This product does not come with an English guide, but the dancers will explain the meaning of the dance in Japanese. But,please do not worry.You can communicate using a translator.
