- On this tour you can experience the beauty of Mt. Fuji and the Fuji Five Lakes area up close. No one should miss out on Japan’s most famous and stunning mountain, so this is a wheelchair friendly tour which anyone can enjoy regardless of walking ability. We provide an English speaking private guide to help you get the most out of your day. You’ll see panoramic views either from Fuji 5th Station or from the Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine followed by lunch at a traditional Japanese restaurant. You’ll also visit Oishi Park on the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko where you’ll see hundreds of flowers in front of an impressive full view of Mt. Fuji. From there you’ll visit traditional village Oshino Hakkai and Gaudi-style kimono museum Kubota Itchiku Art Museum.
- What to expect
-
For those who don’t wish to hike all the way to the top of Mt. Fuji, the 5th Station is the highest point you can reach by car. Situated halfway up the mountain, you’ll be able to say you’ve “been up” Mt. Fuji! From 5th Station you can enjoy panoramic views from 7,546 feet (2,300m) high. There’s even a post office where you can send a postcard from Mt. Fuji.
