- The master local guide grew up near Winston Salem, NC, and has had a love of cycling and the ocean since he was a kid. He worked at dive shops in Roatan, Honduras, where he led dive and snorkel tours. After graduating from school, he lived in Hawaii for 5 years. His wife grew up near Onomichi and he calls Mukaishima home now. He loves cycling the Shimanami Kaido and helping people discover this beautiful part of Japan.
