POO Strawberry Farm is the largest in Kyushu and grows 11 varieties of strawberries. You can enjoy fresh and delicious strawberries.
Yanagawa was once a prosperous "castle town" with Yanagawa Castle as its center, and is famous for being the hometown of the poet Kitahara Hakushu. Cruises are a famous feature of this place. You can take a Donko boat and cruise along the rivers that crisscross the city to experience the unique style of a water town.
Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine enshrines the well-known god of learning, Sugawara no Michizane. It is the headquarters of approximately 12,000 Tenmangu shrines in Japan and the largest shrine in Kyushu. It is visited by many tourists from home and abroad.
