Founded in 1872, this is a restaurant famous for its eel rice and kamameshi. The essence of this long-established restaurant has grown together with the city of Niigata, also known as the "city of willows." Initially, the founder, Tsuruzo Kojima, sold freshly caught fish from the rivers of Niigata Island. Over time, eel became more famous, and the third generation, Shozo Kojima, transformed 「一〆」 into a renowned eel restaurant.
