Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine is a Japanese shrine built in the 8th century. It is dedicated to the Inari gods, headed by Uga no Mikami. [Cherry Blossom Viewing at Shiwari Tsutsumi] Shiwari Tsutsumi is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Yawata City, Kyoto Prefecture, famous for its beautiful cherry blossom scenery and long historical background. Shiwari Tsutsumi is a levee built along the Kizugawa River, named after its location on the back of the levee. Every spring, the cherry blossoms on both sides of Shiwari Tsutsumi bloom, attracting thousands of tourists to come and watch.
