Isuien Garden is a Japanese garden designated as a national scenic spot. Located to the west of the Great South Gate of Todaiji Temple, it consists of two pond-style gardens from different eras: the "Front Garden," built in the early Edo period, which allows visitors to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and the "Back Garden," built in the Meiji period, which offers a magnificent view. In addition, the Neiraku Art Museum, located within the garden, houses and exhibits art and crafts from East Asia.
