"This is the place to taste authentic Korean food!" Meat16 is a Korean restaurant that opened in Nakajima, Kokurakita Ward in 2016, where you can enjoy "deji kalbi," a rare dish in Japan. The owner, Mama, is Korean and currently travels back and forth between Seoul and Kitakyushu, researching Seoul cuisine on a daily basis and adding it to the menu. The staff grills the meat at each table, so customers can enjoy their meal and conversation. You are also welcome to come just for the cold noodles as a final dish! Mama speaks Japanese well, so please feel free to come by.
