• Shimoda Ropeway is located in front of Izukyu-Shimoda Station and is a ropeway that takes you up to Nesugatayama Nature Park, known for its breathtaking views and as a place for matchmaking.
  
• The view from the summit is said to be one of the "Three Great Views of Izu," and on a clear day you can see Shimoda Port and the Izu Seven Islands offshore.
