• Head to Kamikochi, a scenic mountain spot at an altitude of about 1,500 meters that has been designated as a special place of scenic beauty and a special natural monument by the national government.
• Escape the summer heat! (Departure in July) Hida Great Limestone Cave. The average temperature inside the cave is about 12°C throughout the year! (Departure from August onwards) Take the Shinhotaka Ropeway and take an aerial stroll in Japan's only double-decker gondola.
• Dinner on the first day will be Hida beef shabu-shabu and hoba miso
• Stay at the Hotel Mercure Hida Takayama, which has an open-air bath on the top floor with a panoramic view of Takayama city and a large hot spring public bath.
• We stayed at the Mercure Hida Takayama in Takayama. On the second day, we left at 11:00. It's about a 10-minute walk to Takayama's old town, so enjoy a morning stroll around the town.
• A stroll through Shirakawa-go, a World Heritage site reminiscent of Japan's original lands
