What to expect

This is the online ticket purchase page for "Biwako Hakodateyama" located on Hakodateyama in the Kosai area of Shiga Prefecture. It is also known as a famous spot for kochia, and is a very popular spot in the Kansai region. The best time to see the 8,000 kochia trees in autumn colors is expected to be from late September to mid-October. Located at an altitude of about 680m, this is one of the largest natural resort parks in the Kansai region, with a view of Lake Biwa below, a ski resort in winter, and flower fields in the green season, and is open all year round. In the park, you can enjoy amusements such as photogenic spots, a dog run, a zip line, and a kids' park.
