What to expect

Founded in 1909. A sukiyaki restaurant specializing in Ise beef that has been in business for over 100 years, run by a long-established butcher in Ise. They offer a course that can be prepared in 45 minutes. Ise beef is Japanese black beef that is the origin of Matsusaka beef. Only heifers over 30 months old who have not given birth are used as Ise beef, and this has been maintained since the restaurant was founded. For lunch, they offer a set lunch of beef bowls, a specialty of Okage Yokocho, beef hotpot, and steak rice bowls, and in the evening they offer large, thick pieces of Ise beef, seasoned with soy sauce and sugar from Mie, and mainly "grilled" sukiyaki of Ise.
