- Climb the Tateyama Kurobe Gorge using six different modes of transportation: either "Tateyama entry - Ogizawa exit" or "Ogizawa entry - Tateyama exit".
- Dam sightseeing and flood discharge period (June 26th to October 15th): This is the best season for hiking in the Tateyama Kurobe Dam. The weather is cool and not cold, the mountains are lush and green, and there's a chance to spot Japanese antelope. This is also the period when the Kurobe Dam is only discharging water.
