'- All participants are required to possess a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in accordance with the 1949 Geneva Convention by an officially authorized organization in their home country in order to drive in Japan. - Participants with a driver's license issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco must obtain an official Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) instead of an IDP. - All participants must carry the original physical International Driving Permit (or for the exceptional countries listed above, a physical domestic license along with the official Japanese translation) and physical passport at all times. Copies are not acceptable. - Driving licenses issued by countries not covered under the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not valid for driving in Japan. - Participants arriving without the required license may have their tour cancelled without refund.
