"Adachi Fireworks" is a grand event with over 100 years of history, originally held to commemorate famine victims and pray for the recession of plagues. The event first featured fireworks in 1733 at the Suijin Festival on the Sumida River, and is still considered the origin of modern fireworks festivals. The 48th grand event in 2026 is expected to launch approximately 13,000 fireworks, with layers of light and color changing, making it as dazzling as a light show!
