This tour in Asakusa offers guests a memorable experience, allowing them to explore the area and journey back in time to what was once the vibrant heart of Edo, now known as Tokyo. Led by a local and English-speaking guide, the tour begins at the historical temple and shopping complex of Senso-ji and Nakamise Dori. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional Japanese art of Taiko and even try their hand at playing these captivating drums. Lunchtime will be spent exploring Asakusa's popular dining destinations, sampling the delights of Japanese food and Izakaya culture. In the afternoon, the tour continues with stops at temples and shrines off the main tourist trail, a walk on the East side of Sumida Park. Finally guests will visit Asakusa's famous "Kitchen Town".
