What to expect

Established 200 years ago - Enjoy the eel of this long-established restaurant with its secret sauce, which has been added to over the years, while keeping an eye on the Sumida River, which is filled with the atmosphere of each season. . At Unagi Komagata Maekawa Main Branch, the eel is popular for its kabayaki, which is served with a special sauce that has been in business for 200 years. The eel is a domestic "high-quality farmed eel" that is said to be as close to wild as possible. It is plump and soft, with fat that melts in your mouth, and has no muddy smell at all, so it is served as "shirayaki" simply by grilling it. Seating is divided into the 2nd to 4th floors, and all are table seats. From the large windows, you can see the Sumida River and Tokyo Skytree, and enjoy the atmosphere of the old town during the day and the night view of Tokyo at night.
