Kunozan Toshogu Shrine The main hall of Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, built in 1617, is a mausoleum dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. By order of the second shogun, Tokugawa Hidetada, Tokugawa Yorinobu served as the chief supervisor, and Nakai Yamato no Kami Masakiyo was appointed as the master carpenter.
