**Shinmei Fireworks Festival** The Shinmei Fireworks Festival is the largest fireworks festival in Yamanashi. Every year, about 20,000 fireworks are launched on the day, and last year it attracted about 200,000 people to watch. The local fireworks manufacturing skills are said to have originated from the Takeda clan that once ruled Yamanashi. In the Edo period, fireworks here were used to worship the gods. They were set off locally every year and were called the "Ichikawa Fireworks Festival". It was known as one of the three major fireworks festivals in Japan at the time. The highlight of the festival each year is the Nishakudama, a large, flower-shaped fireworks display that explodes to a diameter of 500 meters. The fireworks are accompanied by music, turning the night sky of Yamanashi into a beautiful fireworks town. * The product includes a step-level viewing seat. It is recommended to bring a picnic mat and lay it on the ground when viewing. * Before the fireworks display begins, you will be free to go to
