One of Japan's leading limestone caves.** Akiyoshido Cave, located 100m underground in the Akiyoshidai Quasi-National Park, is designated as a Special Natural Monument. The total length of the cave exceeds 10 km, and on the approximately 1 km-long tourist course, you can witness a variety of natural formations created over many years. The "Hyakumaizara" (One Hundred Dishes), which resembles terraced rice fields, is a spectacular sight that is sure to be Instagram-worthy. In the "Adventure Course," you can enjoy a thrilling exploration by climbing ladders with a flashlight in hand and squeezing through stalactites (separate fee applies). The temperature inside the cave remains constant at 17°C throughout the year, making it cool in summer and warm in winter, allowing you to enjoy sightseeing comfortably even on rainy days.
