Shimonoseki Shunho Restaurant has been around for over 120 years since Japan’s first Prime Minister Ito Hirobumi gave us the honor of being the first publicly licensed fugu shop in 1891. There are currently branches in Tokyo and Osaka. You can taste the authentic Shimonoseki flavor in all branches. You can enjoy the seasons with your eyes, tongue and five senses. All staff prepare and serve meals with care, so please enjoy. Delicate thin-cut sashimi requires exquisite knife skills, and the quality of each puffer fish is carefully selected to bring out the exquisite flavor and texture. It is plated in traditional Japanese crafts such as Arita ware or Ko-Imari ware and is shaped like a chrysanthemum.
