The first phase of construction of the Japanese Garden Yushien began in 1970, and has since been expanded to become a 40,000m2 Japanese garden with a central pond. It is a miniature garden of Izumo Province, with scenes of Izumo imitated throughout the garden, including Oni-no-Shita-Shiburi of Okuizumo, the abundant flow of the Hii River, the surface of Lake Shinji, the reefs of Lake Nakaumi, and the sacred Mount Daisen reflected on its surface. Please enjoy the beautiful scenery of flowers and trees that color the four seasons.
