Located on the first floor of a building along the street in front of the station, Izakaya Rakuen Yanagawa is a restaurant that boasts an abundant menu. In addition to standard izakaya menu items, there are plenty of regional dishes such as Kurume fried rice, Miyazaki specialties such as spicy noodles and meat-wrapped rice balls, and Kumamoto specialties such as horse sashimi. The most popular dish is the famous bone-in short ribs. The fragrant taste of the short ribs, marinated in a secret sauce and grilled over a charcoal fire, is very popular with children and adults alike. Opened in September 2013.
