A major feature of the snorkeling and diving experience at Cape Maeda is that it is open water. There are no common buoy fences, so you can come into contact with the natural sea without any artificial means. It might be a little challenging for those who have never swum in the sea. The itinerary includes understanding the reef ecology and entering the Qingdong from land. After getting used to the water in the peaceful cave, we headed out to the open sea to admire a variety of tropical fish. Along the way you’ll be able to see Okinawa’s intertidal ecosystem, the beautiful blue light of the Aogami Cave, and get up close and personal with marine life.
