You will also visit the TAO no Oka outdoor theater in the Aso-Kuju National Park, to experience an artistic feast that combines nature and traditional Japanese culture. First, we will head to the summit of Mount Aso to observe the crater up close and feel the pulse of the earth, creating an unforgettable experience. Next, we will visit Aso Shrine, which has a history of over 2,000 years, and then stroll to the nostalgic Monzen-machi (temple town) to sample the spring water from various storefront water fountains and explore the local cuisine of Aso. In the afternoon, we will go to TAO no Oka. This outdoor theater is the exclusive performance stage for the world-renowned taiko group DRUM TAO.
