Overview
  • Nagasaki Kunchi is a traditional festival that is held every year for three days starting on October 7th, and is celebrated by the entire town.
  • You can watch the dragon dance and other performances offered at the autumn festival of Suwa Shrine, Nagasaki's guardian deity, from specially set up "reserved seats" within the grounds of Suwa Shrine.
  • On October 7th, you can choose between tickets for the 7:00 AM or 4:00 PM viewing at Suwa Shrine.
  • You can watch from "Masu B Seats" (each seat seats 4 people)! Because it is for 4 people, you may be seated with other groups. Please be considerate to others.
  • English and Chinese speaking staff will guide you to your seat.
  • At the end of the dedication dance, let's get the crowd excited by shouting "Come on!" as an encore!
