• The world exhibition of Hiroshi Kagakui, a picture book author who has created a succession of picture books that bring smiles to children all over Japan, including the "Daruma-san" series.
• This exhibition, the first major retrospective of his work since his death, will open at the Miyazaki Art Center on Saturday, November 16th.
  
• Along with the original illustrations and production materials, we will trace his footsteps through valuable video records and teaching materials from his time as a teacher, and explore the appeal of Kagakui picture books.
  
• During the event, there will be a variety of events that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, including picture book readings, styrene printmaking, and puppet-making workshops.
