Founded over 70 years ago, Kumamoto's long-established Kappo restaurant Hinokuni has opened a new hideaway for adults, "Japanese Cuisine Hinokuni Hanare," that focuses on [dashi] and [sake]. The head chef himself uses seasonal local ingredients, allowing you to feel the change of seasons as you eat the food. We also have a particular focus on alcohol, providing a selection that goes well with Japanese cuisine, including local sake, hard-to-find brands, and wines that have won numerous awards.
