Overview
  • Depending on your preference, you can choose the base scent of "pomegranate'', the symbol of Konkura-ji Temple, or "lotus'', the symbol of Buddhism. While learning about the efficacy and meaning of each scent, we will make special use of the guest hall, which was the quarters of General Maresuke Nogi, the famous general who led the 11th Division of the Imperial Japanese Army, about 120 years ago. In the living room, which faces a beautiful garden where colored carp swim, items related to General Nogi are still carefully stored, and you can see the splendid dragon ceiling paintings and tiger sliding door paintings along with the related items.
