[Kagawa] Mimashi Historic Udatsu Old Town Half-Day Private Kimono Walk
- What to expect
-
A special experience where you can change into a kimono and leisurely stroll through the "Udatsu Townscape," which retains the vestiges of the Edo and Meiji periods. Slip into a non-ordinary world with professional dressing. Please enjoy a moment of blending into the town in Japanese attire. A guide will carefully guide you through the history of the town, the meaning of "Udatsu," and the work of artisans. Visit spots where you can experience the unique culture of Wakimachi, such as the Yoshida family residence (510 yen will be required separately if you enter / adults only), Japanese umbrella workshop, bamboo dolls, and indigo dyeing. This is a heartwarming 3-hour experience recommended for couples, friends, and girls' trips. * In case of rain, the content will be changed to a "Kimono Dressing Class" experience. Please note that we will not conduct outdoor walks in kimonos. * During the hot months of June to October, you will experience "Yukata," a light summer garment, instead of a formal kimono.
