What to expect

Origami is a traditional Japanese art of folding paper into beautiful shapes. You’ll begin with simple and fun animal origami as a warm-up. Then, you will discover the inspiring story of the paper crane and fold your own, carrying a personal wish for peace. Afterwards, your guide will lead you on a short walk through the streets of Hiroshima, sharing local stories and history along the way, before arriving at the Children’s Peace Monument. There, you will dedicate your handmade crane in a heartfelt moment of remembrance. Through this experience, you won’t just enjoy origami—you’ll also connect deeply with Hiroshima’s history, its message of peace, and the charm of its local streets. The entire session lasts about 90 minutes, including the guided walk to the monument.
