• Hida Takayama has retained almost the same scenery as when it flourished as a castle town during the Edo period. The "Old Town" is lined with sake breweries and traditional craft stores, and you can enjoy gourmet food and shopping in a space that makes you feel like you've traveled back in time.
  
• Gujo Hachiman is known for its clear spring water and Gujo Odori dance. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the town of old houses and waterways that evoke history.
