Shiraito Falls in Itoshima, Kyushu, is located at an altitude of 900 meters in the heart of Mt. Hakanane. It is a designated scenic spot in Fukuoka Prefecture. Shiraito Falls, with a drop of approximately 24 meters, lives up to its name, with its water flowing like a thin white silk thread. In the summer, the magnificent splashing water is refreshing and a relaxing spot filled with negative ions and the natural atmosphere. It is a well-known tourist attraction in Japan.
The Dabeiwangyuan of Qianru Temple in Leishan is a famous spot for viewing autumn maple leaves. Its beautiful courtyard, the four-meter-tall wooden statue of the Thousand-Armed Guanyin, and the Five Hundred Arhats arrayed along the mountain slope are all worth a special visit.
Futamiura is the deity of Sakurai Shrine and was once said to be the "gateway to the Dragon Palace." It is famous for its floating Meoto-Iwa Rock and is a popular tourist attraction along with Futamiura in Ise City, Mie Prefecture.
