What to expect

This is a journey about walking slowly and watching quietly. We started from Kokura Castle and shuttled through the streets of the town where history and life intertwined. Looking up, I saw the outline of the castle tower and lowered my head to hear the wind by the moat, as if I was in a light ink landscape painting. Then I strolled to Moji Port, like walking into an old movie. The red brick buildings, the still rails, the slow harbor wind, and the cup of just right coffee by the port all tell the romantic feelings of the Meiji era. At noon, we came to the bustling Karato Market. A bite of freshly made sushi with the salty sea breeze was the most fireworks happiness on the journey. Sitting by the port and basking in the sun, even if you are just in a daze, you feel at ease and satisfied. Akama Shrine is just quiet.
