■ Three Highlights of the Trip
I. Visit a "living museum" where history comes to life. Uchiko Town in Ehime Prefecture flourished as a wax manufacturing industry during the Edo and Meiji periods. Stroll through the townscape that still retains the beautiful appearance of that time, and knock on the door of a blacksmith that has supported the local industry for over 100 years.
II. A spiritual story of "mindlessness, creation, and imagination." This experience is not just manual labor. It is a story of spiritual transformation that begins with "mindlessness" as you hammer the iron in time with the rhythm, continues with "creation" as you create your own shape, and then continues with "imagination" as you give shape to the town's culture.
