The route is 37.2 km long and has a maximum elevation difference of 1,975 meters. Almost the entire route is within the Chubu Sangaku National Park. You can easily enjoy the magnificent nature of Tateyama Kurobe, passing through many scenic spots, by changing vehicles from Tateyama Station in Tateyama Town on the Toyama side to Ogizawa Station in Omachi City on the Nagano side. In spring, you can freely stroll through the Snow Valley (about 500 meters) in Murodo. The height of the wall varies depending on the amount of snowfall.
