A Japanese calligraphy master explains the history and culture of Japanese calligraphy.

・Just like Japanese students, they practice writing large characters on washi paper with a brush and ink.

- After the first half, we'll take a break with Japanese tea and traditional Japanese sweets.

- In the second half, practice on washi paper using the actual size used over 100 years ago.

Finally, write your favorite words and put it in a small picture frame.

Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to experience calligraphy firsthand, writing large characters on paper with a brush and ink. This concludes the first half. We will then take a break with Japanese tea and traditional Japanese sweets. In the second half, you will try writing small characters that were actually used in the past. Finally, you will write your favorite characters on a small piece of washi paper. It will then be placed in a small frame and taken home as a unique souvenir of Japan.
