- Hop on a climate-controlled vehicle at Tokyo’s Shinjuku Station, and set off for the Nagano Prefecture. After a scenic drive, you'll reach the base of the mountainous monkey park. Here, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring beef sukiyaki and Nagano Wine (also known as "God’s Drink"). Vegetarian options are available as well.
- Depending on the season, you may continue the journey to Jogokudani Monkey Park by bus, or take a peaceful walk to the entrance during the winter months. Inside the park, observe the famous red-faced Japanese macaques soaking in the steaming hot springs, a behavior they adopt to stay warm during the frigid temperatures.
- Explore the snow-covered landscape, but be sure to respect the monkeys’ space while capturing photos of the serene setting. Afterward, return to the bus for the ride back to Shinjuku.
- Note: If you're traveling between January 20th and February 26th, there will be an additional stop at Kamakura no Sato to view the beautiful, illuminated snow huts.
